Bunny Buttons, 22mm, Purple Sweet Potato

These amazing buttons are made by Diane at Knopfdesign, Etsy, especially for Gathered Sheep Yarns.

Diane works with clay as a sculptor. A keen knitter herself, Diane decided to design and make her own buttons.

Each button is made from clay. They are then fired, glazed and fired again. These are shank buttons, meaning the thread is sewn through a protrusion at the back of the button. The diameter is approximately 22mm. They can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle.

To prevent the buttons knocking against hard surfaces, turn the garment inside out and place in a washing bag or pillow case.
