The new regulations came into force 1 July 2021. Gathered Sheep Yarns is not VAT registered. In stock items are normally posted within 2 working days of the order being placed. However, during busy times of the year, this time frame may increase. I am unable to post orders on Public Holidays. Please also check individual listings for a specific shipping timeframe.

What if the total weight of my order is in excess of 2KG?

All overseas orders which weigh in excess of 2kg (Royal Mail small parcel maximum weight) including all packaging, will be sent in TWO separate delivery boxes at a cost of £50.00.

If you think your total order may exceed 2kg, but would like to check before placing your order, please send me an email.

Please kindly note that an order cannot be sent to a PO address if the method of shipping is “Tracked and Signed.”

If you don’t see your delivery destination please do contact me, I will be very happy to post almost anywhere!

I regret I no longer post to Germany due to LUCID, the packaging register. The register enables Germany to recycle any packaging that businesses post there. It requires me, as a business owner, to contribute towards the costs of processing and recycling postage materials.

While registering with LUCID is free, all businesses are required to partner with a dual systems provider responsible for recycling in Germany on behalf of the consumer. This involves paying an annual fee based on the weight and type of packaging used throughout the year. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to justify the associated fees and administrative requirements. That said, I fully understand and appreciate the importance of this system.

Once your order is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email to acknowledge your purchase.

When your order has been dispatched, you will receive another email notifying you that your parcel is on its way.

If you have selected a tracked and insured shipping option, your tracking number will be included in the dispatch notification email, allowing you to monitor your parcel's journey.

Please note that your package will be sent to the delivery address provided at the time of ordering. Unfortunately, once the parcel is dispatched, I cannot amend the delivery destination.

Please note that I am unable to initiate inquiries with Royal Mail regarding delayed or potentially lost parcels until 20 working days have passed for European deliveries and 25 working days for the rest of the world. Royal Mail does not accept claims or classify parcels as missing or lost until this timeframe has elapsed.

In the meantime, kindly check with your local Post Office or inquire with neighbours, as your parcel may have been misdelivered. Thank you for your understanding.

• Loss or damage: Items are covered for loss or damage up to £150 or the value of the item, whichever is lower.

If you expect to be unavailable when your order is delivered and would like your parcel left in a safe place, please inform me at the time of order. However, please note this option is at your own risk, and no compensation will be provided if the parcel goes missing from the designated safe place.

• Button-Only Orders: These are sent via 2nd Class Standard. If the order value exceeds £20.00 your buttons will be upgraded to Tracked 48.
